Pioneering educational initiative offers students a new opportunity to complete their academic journey and build their professional future
Awsaj Academy, part of Qatar Foundation’s Pre-University Education, hosted the 2025 graduation ceremony for its Prime Program, celebrating the achievements of 316 students from the program’s fifth cohort.
The Prime Program is a pioneering educational initiative launched by Awsaj Academy to support students who were previously unable to complete their education in government or independent schools.
The program aims to empower them to achieve academic outcomes that open pathways to employment, higher education, or specialized training programs, tailored to their individual learning needs and future aspirations.
I extend my heartfelt congratulations to the 2025 graduates of the Prime Program at Awsaj Academy on this remarkable achievement, which reflects years of dedication, hard work, and ambition. We are all immensely proud of you and all that you have accomplished.
Mark Hughes
Hughes also expressed his appreciation to everyone who has contributed to the success of the Prime Program, highlighting the pivotal role played by the teaching and administrative staff, parents, and QF’s partners on the students’ educational journey.
“Today, I see more than 300 exceptional talents, each with unique abilities and promising aspirations,” he added. “The Prime Program has been a transformative milestone in their educational journey, removing many of the barriers that once stood in the way of their dreams, opening new pathways for personal and academic growth, and instilling in them the confidence and determination to pursue their goals.”
“What has been achieved throughout this journey is a true reflection of the students’ determination and perseverance. It also highlights the tremendous efforts of the Academy’s team, the ongoing support from QF, and the invaluable contribution of their families, who have been key partners in this success.
“I encourage the Class of 2025 graduates to continue believing in their abilities, to always strive for excellence, and to seize every opportunity that will help shape their future and make a positive impact on their communities and the world.”
